The Story
‘Adventure Awaits’ is a framed mixed media original on board from British 'pop maximalist' Lhouette, released by Clarendon Fine Art as part of our debut collection with this exciting contemporary artist. The artwork is a billboard-flyer-style, multi-layered paper print which has been torn and pasted onto a treated panel, embellished with aerosol and acrylic paint and coated with UV protective high gloss varnish and a diamond dust finish. It is presented in a triple-tiered frame combination consisting of a white block outer tray, a hand-painted striped inner frame with a matte black inner tray. Each edition varies texturally, by paint embellishment and colours within the art. The piece, which measures 32 x 75”, references cultural icons from the 20th and 21st century in a vivid palette and dramatic composition, which includes graffiti and a range of international pop cultural tropes and motifs.
