The āAngel Cakeā series of original mixed media wall sculptures from multi-disciplinary artist Lhouette are created using aerosol and acrylic on wood and are coated in UV protective high gloss resin. āMini Stripeā measures 25 x 33ā and features a kaleidoscopic palette of stripes for the figure, with graduated shades of pink for her angel wings and to finish, a complete contrast with a clumpy pair of DM-style red boots. Emblematic of Lhouette Studios, the Angel Cake has been a recurring motif over the last 10 years and has been reworked in hundreds of different formats, colour schemes and patterns, each one achieving the status of collectorās item as a standalone piece or as part of a set.
