The Story
Roman Feral’s original sculpture Chanel White Pearl Indonesia is a mesmerising display of elegance and craftsmanship, measuring 16" x 20". Encased in a pristine glass cube, this exquisite piece captures a captivating moment where nature and luxury collide. A flawless white pearl-shaped Chanel accessory, adorned with a delicate strand of pearls, serves as the focal point. From behind, a spectacular burst of vibrant blue butterflies, inspired by Indonesian species, emerges in mid-flight, their iridescent wings glowing against the mirrored base.
The contrast between the pure, luminescent pearl and the dynamic vitality of the butterflies evokes themes of beauty, freedom, and transformation. Feral’s meticulous attention to detail imbues each butterfly with lifelike delicacy, creating the illusion of motion and capturing the fleeting essence of nature frozen in time.
Roman Feral first gained international acclaim at Art Basel Miami Beach in 2018, a debut that catapulted him into the global art scene. Since then, his work has graced prestigious galleries, luxury venues, and private collections worldwide, including those of Chanel, Leonardo DiCaprio, and the Prince of Abu Dhabi. Chanel honoured him as the first living artist since Salvador Dalí to join their Heritage Collection. Feral’s signature butterfly installations explore the ephemeral nature of beauty, encapsulating poetic journeys within timeless luxury creations.
