The Story

Parlami D Amore is a lyrical and evocative original sculpture by Andrea Roggi, measuring 22" x 30". From a textured bronze sphere emerges a delicately modelled tree, its roots spilling downwards into an open void while its branches reach outward with gentle confidence. The composition feels suspended between earth and air, solidity and emotion. A small golden sphere nestled within the hollow draws the eye, acting as a quiet focal point and symbol of intimacy, warmth and unspoken connection. The cool blue and green patination lends the work a dreamlike quality, reinforcing the sense of tenderness suggested by the title, which translates to Speak to Me of Love. The sculpture invites contemplation, encouraging the viewer to reflect on communication, vulnerability and the beauty of emotional exchange.

Andrea Roggi was born in Castiglion Fiorentino in Tuscany, a region deeply rooted in artistic tradition. His creative journey took a decisive turn during a visit to Florence’s Basilica of Santa Maria Novella, where Masaccio’s The Trinity profoundly influenced his understanding of form, balance and depth. He later trained under the esteemed sculptor Enzo Scatragli, refining his technical skill and sculptural language.

In 1991, Roggi established his own studio and foundry, enabling him to control every stage of the sculptural process, from concept to casting and patination. Working primarily in bronze using the traditional lost wax technique, he fuses classical craftsmanship with a distinctive contemporary voice. Alongside his artistic practice, Roggi is celebrated for his commitment to education and cultural engagement, founding the Art for Youth movement and the Parco della Creatività. His works are held in international collections and exhibited worldwide, reflecting a career devoted to emotion, storytelling and human connection.
