The Story

Size:68 x 34 in.

Yuvi’s explosive original 63" x 30" canvas, “Royal Art Rules”, is a joyous and rebellious celebration of British cultural identity, expressed through a graffiti-infused lens of pop art anarchy. Commanding the centre is a traditional Queen’s Guard in vivid red, stoically surrounded by a whirlwind of iconic British figures and symbols—from Queen Elizabeth II and Winston Churchill to James Bond, Freddie Mercury, and the unmistakable lips and tongue of the Rolling Stones.

The backdrop is a riot of references: the Union Jack, Tower Bridge, red telephone boxes, and flashes of London street life all converge into a layered tapestry of satire and reverence. A cacophony of colour, comic book characters, and punk rock legends fill every inch of the canvas, demanding attention and provoking thought.

Yuvi’s approach fuses traditional materials with street-style grit—spray paint, silk screen, paper cuttings and even glass shards—physically and emotionally engaging the viewer. He creates directly with his hands, channelling his personal connection to every surface. Inspired by global travel and the bold styles of Warhol and Banksy, Yuvi’s art is raw yet jubilant, loud yet thoughtful.

“Royal Art Rules” is not just a visual homage; it’s a tactile manifesto of identity, nostalgia, rebellion, and above all, creativity.
