The Story
Sei Meraviglia is a lyrical and uplifting original sculpture by Andrea Roggi, measuring 21" x 30". A delicately modelled tree rises gracefully from a rounded globe, its fine branches spreading outward like an embrace. The textured sphere beneath, partially opened and richly patinated in soft blues and earthy bronze tones, suggests both protection and vulnerability, while the tree symbolises growth, wonder and renewal. The title, translating to You Are a Wonder, reinforces the sculptureās quietly affirming message, inviting reflection on human potential and our relationship with the world around us. Light catches on the intricate leaves and roots, revealing Roggiās exceptional attention to detail and his sensitivity to balance and form.
Andrea Roggi was born in Castiglion Fiorentino, in the heart of Tuscany, and his artistic language sits between sculpture, painting and poetry. A pivotal early experience occurred during a visit to Florenceās Basilica of Santa Maria Novella, where Masaccioās fresco The Trinity left a lasting impression on his understanding of depth, harmony and spiritual presence. He went on to study under the esteemed sculptor Enzo Scatragli, refining his technical mastery.
In 1991, Roggi established his own studio and foundry, enabling him to oversee every stage of creation, from concept to casting and patination. Working in bronze through the traditional lost wax process, his sculptures unite classical craftsmanship with a refined contemporary voice. Beyond his studio practice, Roggi is a passionate advocate for artistic education, founding the Art for Youth movement and the Parco della CreativitĆ . His work is exhibited internationally and held in collections worldwide, reflecting a career devoted to beauty, meaning and shared cultural experience.
