The second part of this spellbinding pair of works from contemporary artist Danielle O’Connor Akiyama brims with life, light and energy. It features many of the artist’s signature signs and symbols, including cherry blossom which represents renewal, waterfalls to denote energy and cleansing, and the blue circles Danielle uses to represent the idea of protection. Part of the ‘Matters of the Heart’ collection, it was created to be hung with its complementary partner piece, but is a powerful image in its own right and looks beautiful when displayed as a single artwork.
