Simon Kenny’s The World Within (39" x 47") is a mesmerising explosion of colour and emotion, embodying his signature lyrical abstraction style. His dynamic use of bold blues, fiery reds, and deep earthy tones creates an ethereal atmosphere, inviting the viewer to interpret their own connection to the piece. Often described as a radical Turner, Simon’s work captures the intangible essence of emotion through colour bursts and fluid, expressive brushstrokes. His paintings are never tied to a specific place, instead encouraging a personal and emotional response from the viewer.

Born in Dublin in 1976, Simon discovered his passion for art early on, refining his techniques through brushwork, palette knife textures, and delicate underpainting. His work has been widely exhibited, including at the prestigious Saatchi Gallery, and is collected globally, particularly in the USA.

Simon describes his process as deeply emotional, saying, “My personality is a big part of what I paint. I become incredibly connected to my work, almost treating it as a living thing”.
